An enchanting afternoon concert, with beautiful music played on an incredible collection of instruments. Celebrating the release of Fontanella’s latest recording “The woods so wild”, the programme will feature early music from Monteverdi, Gibbons and Byrd as well as a few more contemporary surprises. In true Fontanella style, the audience will become well-acquainted with the players, the instruments and stories behind the music.

Blown Away: Recorder Workshop and Family Concert, Stratford on Avon

The Croft Preparatory School, Alveston Hill, Loxley Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 7RL
Young recorder players are warmly invited to participate in a special workshop with Fontanella, working on fun music to be performed as part of a family concert at 4pm. The workshop is suitable for young recorder players of Pre-Grade 1 level up to Grade 5 standard; participants will be divided into groups depending on age and experience.
